We’re looking for a passionate pharmacist to join our Cancer Care team to deliver safe, efficient, and effective pharmaceutical services across inpatient, outpatient, and community settings. In this role, you’ll provide specialised pharmacy services including drug therapy monitoring, medication reviews, adverse reaction management, and patient counselling to ensure optimal medication management. You’ll share your expertise through education for staff, patients, and community groups, and play a key role in clinical trials for cancer therapies. Collaboration is essential as you liaise with external compounding pharmacies to coordinate cancer treatments and supportive care, while keeping protocols aligned with best practice.

What you will bring to the role
- Current unrestricted authority to practice as a pharmacist within the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Demonstrated competence in current drug knowledge, with a strong preference for experience in cancer therapies.
- Demonstrated commitment to professional development and quality improvement activities.
- Demonstrated experience in the provision of clinical pharmacy services, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively independently, as part of a pharmacy team and a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Excellent written, verbal and electronic communication skills.
- Demonstrated excellent organisational and prioritisation skills with the ability to meet competing deadlines.
- Demonstrated competence across a range of IT platforms, including dispensing systems, Microsoft Office applications, and preferably, Oncology Information Systems.
