About the role
Connecting patients to the places and people who look after their health, you will provide transport for patients deemed clinically stable, within Western NSW, including hospital transfers, diagnostic appointments, medical consultations, residential aged care facilities and home addresses.
You will need a current unrestricted NSW driver's licence (Class C) with evidence of proven safe current driving record and the ability to drive for work purposes. A current Advanced First Aid (HLTAID014) and Advanced Resuscitation and Oxygen Therapy (HLTAID015) certificates or equivalent as a minimum are also required.
You’ll work on a rotating roster to provide timely transport, monitor and maintain vehicles and equipment in clean, stocked and roadworthy condition, and adhere to all legislation, policy, procedures and initiatives in relation to driving, vehicle maintenance, use of roads and infection prevention and control to support patient, crew and public safety.
