  • Substantial experience in the operations and management of food and patient support services in a large complex organisation and relevant qualifications or equivalent
  • Experience leading a team, including well developed people management skills and communication and engagement skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a customer-focused organisation
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve business outcomes, including the flexibility to adapt to changing role requirements as the organisation develops and expands
  • Demonstrated ability to undertake analysis and develop solutions for day-to-day challenges in an operational environment, including an understanding of basic business and financial concepts as they relate to day-to-day work
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate quality assurance principles into day-to-day operations and an understanding of relevant legislation, policy and professional standards, which are in the areas of food safety, infection control, cleaning, and work health and safety
  • Demonstrated computer skills and knowledge of Window-based programs, such as Word and Excel, and ability to use electronic devices
