The Hospital-based Professionals for Pre-registration Experience (HOPPE) is an internal facilitation service within ISLHD aimed at strengthening the quality of nursing and midwifery clinical placements. The service supports a positive, safe and well-supervised learning environment by enhancing the existing nurse preceptor role and increasing access to meaningful learning opportunities for students. As the Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating the operational delivery of the HOPPE facilitation service across ISLHD. This includes supporting the day-to-day functioning of the service, assisting in its ongoing development, and monitoring its effectiveness.

You will work collaboratively with ISLHD-partnered Education Providers and key internal stakeholders. In partnership with the Nurse Manager – Workforce Development and Design, you will contribute to the management of the ClinConnect Nursing clinical placement booking processes and capacity across the district. You will use your leadership and organisational skills to build effective working relationships, support consistent facilitation practices, and promote the service within clinical areas.
