Where you'll be working
This role operates across WSLHD supporting multicultural health priorities and community engagement initiatives.
Based at Mount Druitt Community Health Centre
Works with Multicultural Health teams and Priority Populations
Collaborates with internal clinical and non-clinical services
Engages with government, NGOs and community organisations
Supports district-wide multicultural health strategy
What you'll be doing
You will deliver programs and partnerships to improve healthcare access and equity.
Engage with priority CALD communities to identify needs and solutions
Develop and deliver health education and literacy programs
Build and maintain stakeholder partnerships
Lead targeted projects aligned with district strategy
Monitor, evaluate and report on program outcomes

Essential Criteria:
· Qualification: Relevant tertiary qualifications in health or related discipline
· License: Drivers licence valid in NSW
Selection Criteria:
1. Extensive experience in identifying and working with priority CALD communities,
2. Demonstrated understanding of the health, social and settlement needs and issues of people from priority CALD communities and groups.
3. Able to develop networks of CALD community members around health related initiatives.
4. Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to build productive working relationships with a range of health services and professionals.
5. Knowledge of WSLHD strategic priorities and ability to apply these in working with CALD communities.
6. Demonstrated ability in delivering and evaluation of evidence based health programs and projects.
7. Demonstrated ability in delivering and evaluation of evidence based health programs and projects.
8. Demonstrated evidence of effective written and oral communication skills.
