Qualifications: Graduate level or above in a health or other related discipline
Selection Criteria
- Extensive knowledge of and experience with multicultural health issues and demonstrated ability to implement State and District health priorities and Multicultural Health strategies, policies, programs.
- Demonstrated leadership ability to manage staff and provide project management support.
- Extensive experience in the design, development, delivery and evaluation of health related evidence based projects, studies and programs.
- Demonstrated consultation and negotiation skills and ability to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders including high-level health and community partners to develop and deliver collaborative responses.
- Demonstrated experience on working in a cross culture context on projects to identify local issues and barriers experienced by refugee and migrant health consumers and develop solutions to improve their journey across the health care continuum.
- Demonstrated high level experience in the area of cultural diversity education and training.
- High level facilitation, presentation and coaching skills that model a culture of learning.
