Essential Requirements

Vaccination Category: A
Checks: National Police Check
Qualifications: Graduate level or above in a health or other related discipline

 

Selection Criteria

  1. Extensive knowledge of and experience with multicultural health issues and demonstrated ability to implement State and District health priorities and Multicultural Health strategies, policies, programs.
  2. Demonstrated leadership ability to manage staff and provide project management support.
  3. Extensive experience in the design, development, delivery and evaluation of health related evidence based projects, studies and programs.
  4. Demonstrated consultation and negotiation skills and ability to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders including high-level health and community partners to develop and deliver collaborative responses.
  5. Demonstrated experience on working in a cross culture context on projects to identify local issues and barriers experienced by refugee and migrant health consumers and develop solutions to improve their journey across the health care continuum.
  6. Demonstrated high level experience in the area of cultural diversity education and training.
  7. High level facilitation, presentation and coaching skills that model a culture of learning.
