  1. Extensive experience in media and issues management, public relations and/or communications. This includes writing media materials, providing media training to senior staff, event management and relevent qualifications in communications, marketing or journalism.
  2. Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication and editing skills, including experience in the production of reports, online content, social media, high-level correspondence, briefing materials, and management of corporate style guides. Superior interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills with demonstrated experience engaging and building effective working relationships with internal and external audiences.
  3. Extensive experience developing social media platforms to build networks and connect with new audiences.
  4. A track record of success in developing innovative strategies and using of multi-platform media to engage audiences with communications material.
  5. High level experience in project management including experience in managing communications processes and producing innovative communications materials to tight deadlines, as well as project risk management and mitigation.
  6. Demonstrated understanding of major issues in the health service and health system performance reporting.
  7. Superior organisational and time management skills, and the ability to work under pressure in a busy environment while managing multiple projects.
