Targeted Questions
- Do you have current registration and authority to practice in of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia within AHPRA and obtainment of Authorised Nurse Immuniser certification (or evidence of being scheduled to obtain). Are there any restrictions under your authority?
- Do you have a strong understanding of vaccine preventable diseases, immunology, and the importance of preventing infectious diseases? This includes a demonstrated ability to interpret serology results and immunisation summaries.
- Do you have proficiency in recording and reporting within data management systems, including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel, as well as other custom built databases.
- Do you have demonstrated organisational skills and experience working in a high volume and demanding professional environment with a capacity to prioritise competing demands and achieve results with a customer focused approach.

COVID-19 Vaccination Compliance
All NSW Health workers are required to have completed an up-to-date course of a COVID-19 vaccine (3 doses for Category A roles, 2 doses for Category B roles) which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA). New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW. Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Please provide proof of vaccination if available. The Staff Health Team will access your AIR record if needed, please advise if you prefer the team not to view your vaccination record.
This is a NSW Health Category B position. You will be required to complete the OASV Undertaking/ Declaration Form during the recruitment process. Please upload this with your application.
