Selection Criteria:
- Registered Nurse to have current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and Allied Health staff to have relevant tertiary qualifications in health, social sciences, or a related field and registration or eligibility for membership of professional association as appropriate.
- All disciplines recent post registration experience in Drug Health setting.
- Demonstrated knowledge of drug and alcohol health issues in a primary health care, community or inpatient setting.
- Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to liaise with appropriate referral agencies, including drug treatment, allied health; legal and welfare organisations and excellent customer service skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills and awareness of cross-cultural issues, with an ability to interact with people from a diverse range of sub-cultures and backgrounds and demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated experience in the development, implementation and maintenance of administrative office systems including the use of databases and internet search engines.
- Demonstrated capacity to perform in a calm and professional manner in a demanding clinical environment.
