About the role:
As the Practice Nurse you will work in collaboration with general practitioners, providing a range of services, including chronic disease management and population health activities. The role is diverse and includes assistance in primary-acute sector integration, better coordination of care, provision of practical and professional support to the GP, and enhancing the range of services available to people attending the practice.

About HealthOne:
HealthOne Manilla forms part of the Manilla Multi-Purpose Service, which services patients, residents and clients of the Manilla community and surrounds. Manilla is 45km from Tamworth Rural Referral Hospital. The population is approximately 3,500 and is supported by two General Practices that operate 8:30am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday. We provide a range of clinical services including a 3 bed 24 hour Emergency Department, 13 sub-acute medical beds, 40 residential aged care beds, radiology, pathology, and community health which includes antenatal care and child and family health.

Our ideal candidate will be a motivated and enthusiastic person with experience as a Practice Nurse. You are committed to providing leadership in the delivery of safe compassionate person centred care to our patients in our GP practice and in Chronic Disease Management in the community.

An eligibility list will be created for future permanent part time and temporary part time vacancies.

To be eligible for employment in these roles you must be: an Australian Citizen, or a permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport, or a citizen of another country with an appropriate visa that allows you to work in Australia. 
If you currently hold a temporary visa that allows you to live and work in Australia you may only be offered employment in line with the conditions and expiry date of your visa.
