Health Promotion Officer -Queanbeyan, Goulburn
Selection Creiteria
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline and eligibility for membership of an appropriate Australian professional association OR experience in a relevant health promotion related field.
- Experience with planning, implementation and evaluation of health promotion programs / projects.
- Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to principles of evidence informed practice and ability to safely use innovative approaches where necessary.
- Excellent communication skills including the ability to effectively collaborate and consult with others, respectfully persuade others in relation to key messages and write clearly and succinctly.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Ability to competently use information and communication technology software for a range of purposes, including word processing, emails, document preparation, internet searches, data entry.
- Current unrestricted drivers' licence and the ability to maintain. Ability and willingness to drive/travel as the role requires. This may involve driving long distances.
