Selection Criteria:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in a health promotion, public health, community development or an allied health discipline.
- Demonstrated understanding and application of health promotion principles and skills in planning, implementing and evaluating health promotion programs and activities relating to improving the health and wellbeing of priority populations and building healthier places
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in effective community engagement and/or un-dertaking community development approaches to reduce health inequities and build com-munity resilience.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in NSW state health priorities.
- Demonstrated effective organisational skills including managing competing priorities, problem solving and an ability to work as part of a team.
- Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills, decision making and ne-gotiation skills and forging partnerships with a range of stakeholders.
- Demonstrated understanding and experience of issues that impact on program or service delivery in relation to social disadvantage, Aboriginal and CALD communities.
- Current unrestricted NSW Class C or P2 driver’s licence.
