Selection Criteria
- Demonstrated extensive clinical experience in a range of Mental Health services
- Has completed Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or TAE40110) and/or post graduate qualification in adult education
- Demonstrated ability to develop, deliver and evaluate teaching and education programs for psychologists, other health professionals and carers in a range of areas that may include specialist psychological skills in collaboration with the mental health education team
- Demonstrated understanding of adult learning principles and their application into teaching and education programs in a variety of settings and multidisciplinary audiences
- Demonstrated ability to lead the design and development of education programs that support the Mental Health related strategic initiatives of the Organisation
- Demonstrated evidence of the use of critical thinking as it relates to the delivery of evidence based education programs
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication, negotiation and networking skills; with demonstrated relationship building across disciplines at all management and staff levels, and engagement with the multidisciplinary health care team, patients/carers and consumers and external stakeholders in order to inform decision making on education matters
- Demonstrated sound organisational skills and the ability to be resourceful, proactive and flexible, to ensure successful management of competing demands and deadlines.
