FGM Program Community Education and Development Officer
Essential Criteria:

Gender Specific: Female
Licence: Driver’s License valid in NSW
Qualification: Relevant tertiary qualifications in health or related discipline

Selection Criteria:
1. Certificate IV in training and assessment, demonstrated facilitation and presentation skills and experience in developing, delivering and evaluating training and community education sessions
2. Extensive experience in working with FGM affected communities through the implementation of community development, adult health promotion and capacity building principles
3. A working knowledge and understanding of the human rights framework, child welfare and legal issues relating to FGM in NSW
4. Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to build productive working relationships with a range of health services, professionals, community and religious leaders
5. Demonstrated ability in delivering evidence based health programs and evaluation of health related projects
6. Demonstrated understanding of relevant state multicultural and refugee health focused policies and priorities and ability to apply these in working with migrant and refugee communities
7. Demonstrated evidence of effective written and oral communication skills
