Selection criteria:
  1. Advanced computer skills and proven ability to use health information systems and experience in keeping accurate client health records in accordance with relevant NSW Policies
  2. Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills and the ability to identify key messages, issues and concerns when communicating with others.
  3. Ability to initiate, lead, complete and share quality improvement initiatives and service evaluation processes and lead ongoing quality improvement activities with other staff
  4. Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and apply professional and ethical boundaries when dealing with situations of a complex or critical nature
  5. Demonstrated ability to proactively engage with patients to enhance service delivery and to guide others in providing service excellence
  6. Excellent decision making and advocacy skills including the ability to interact constructively and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary framework throughout all organisational levels
  7. Experience working with clients who have drug & alcohol issues including a comprehensive understanding of dependence, treatment, harm reduction, assessment and care coordination.
  8. Relevant tertiary education and experience. Qualifications in accordance with the NSW Health Service Health Professionals (State) Award, Health Education Officers Determination NSW or registration if relevant
