District Health Information Manager - Lismore

1. Tertiary qualifications in health Information management or equivalent (medical record management), eligibility for membership of relevant professional body and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
2. Demonstrated high level professional knowledge and extensive management experience as a senior health information manager in a complex, challenging and dynamic environment.
3. Proven effective leadership, negotiation and management skills, including capacity to develop a change management program with demonstrated outcomes.
4. Highly developed interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to work in a consultative manner with all levels of staff and manage sensitive situations.
5. Demonstrated advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, and the ability to produce high level analytical reports.
6. Demonstrated knowledge of State and National health information management strategies and initiatives and knowledge of legislative and governance requirements and policies related to management of health information.
7. Demonstrated capacity to prepare briefs, submissions, reports, strategy/discussion papers and policies/procedures.
8. Valid unrestricted drivers licence for use in NSW/Australia and willingness to travel in the course of employment.
