Director of Nursing - Prince of Wales Hospital

Selection Criteria:

1. Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
2. Superior operational management knowledge and skills with demonstrated ability in leading staff and managing services in a relevant setting
3. Proven ability to ensure the human, physical and financial resources of the service/facility are managed within a defined budget to provide safe, compassionate, quality care that is culturally responsive
4. Extensive leadership using contemporary change management methodologies and an understanding of current issues impacting on the nurse profession
5. Extensive experience in strategic workforce planning, including proven ability to implement contemporary workforce models that adapt to changing models of service delivery
6. Demonstrated ability in planning and policy implementation using advance analytical and conceptual skills
7. Superior communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to consult, liaise and negotiate with all level of staff, patients and external agencies and the ability to positively influence organisational change
8. Current drivers licence and ability to travel when required
