About the role

  • Deliver a high-quality customer experience by proactively contacting patients, customers, insurers and health funds to resolve outstanding accounts with empathy and professionalism
  • Respond to phone, email and written enquiries promptly, ensuring clear communication and positive outcomes for all stakeholders
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to investigate and resolve account queries, ensuring a seamless and supportive customer journey
  • Manage billing communications including statements and reminders, helping customers understand their accounts and payment options
  • Identify and resolve payment discrepancies and complex account issues, taking a solutions-focused approach while maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced environment


About you

  • Thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment, managing busy email inboxes and phone enquiries while delivering responsive, customer-focused service
  • Engage confidently with a wide range of stakeholders, demonstrating exceptional verbal communication and professionalism in every interaction
  • Produce clear, accurate and concise written communications, ensuring high-quality business and client correspondence
  • Work collaboratively within a team while also taking initiative and managing tasks independently to achieve strong outcomes
  • Apply strong organisational, time-management and problem-solving skills to prioritise competing deadlines, resolve conflicts and negotiate positive results

In this role you will be based at St Vincent’s hospital, Darlinghurst.
