Coordinator Peer Support Team, Health Workplace Strategies (Temporary Part Time)
Reporting to the Director Healthy Workplace & Strategies you will meet the following knowledge, skills and experience:
- Relevant qualifications and experience in relation to the provision of trauma support or peer support and the ability to manage EAPS provided by an external provider.
- Understanding of emergency services workplace culture and operations, and the challenges in providing staff support services to frontline NSW Ambulance employees.
- High level communication and interpersonal skills, including ability to liaise and consult with key parties, negotiate successful outcomes in relation to complex and/or sensitive issues, conflict resolution and presentation of information sessions.
- Leadership and team management skills, including the ability to enhance team relations, monitor team functionality, promote the well-being of individual team members, and undertake remedial or performance management processes.
- Sound analytical skills, including the ability to undertake research, identify key issues, resolve problems and undertake effective case management.
- High-level ability to organise, prioritise, meet deadlines and achieve set goals and demonstrated experience in preparing reports, formal correspondence and briefing papers; dealing with sensitive and confidential matters in tight timeframes.
- Computer literacy, including experience in word processing, spreadsheets, PowerPoint, email and other applications in the Windows environment.
