Selection Criteria:
- High level customer service skills in a library environment with demonstrated prior experience in initiating processes to ensure needs and expectations are met.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver reference services that connect users with the services required.
- Excellent communication skills – written (reports, procedures, reports, minutes), oral (training) and interpersonal with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a team member and also to work independently and able to set priorities and meet deadlines.
- Previous experience in providing training to a variety of users (staff and customers) and carrying out evaluation of its effectiveness.
- Previous experience in a position requiring supervision, consultation, planning and follow- through.
- Experienced in analytical skills, making sound judgement calls and problem solving.
