Essential Requirements:
Vaccination Category: A
Checks: Working with children Check and National Police Check
Qualification: Tertiary Qualifications in a relevant discipline
Selection Criteria:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in a related discipline, with a minimum of four years health promotion/community development experience
- Demonstrated experience working with at risk young people
- Demonstrated experience providing group work/health education to young people
- Demonstrated ability to provide leadership and support to a multidisciplinary team in achieving team objectives and quality improvement strategies
- Demonstrated understanding of health promotion principles and practices and how these relate to a youth health setting
- Demonstrated organisational and project development and recording skills
- Understanding of the delivery of trauma informed interventions with young people
- Experience working in a youth health setting and / or working with young people from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse communities and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander
