Clinical Psychologist-Macarthur Older People's Mental Health Community Team-Perm P/T

Selection Criteria

• Full registration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia with completion of an Australian Psychology Accreditation Council accredited postgraduate Clinical Psychology qualification of no less than two years full time duration or recognised equivalent
• Demonstrated competence in a wide range of psychological assessments and evidence based psychological treatments delivered on an individual and/or group basis
• Demonstrated experience working independently in the provision of patient/consumer-focused care.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the quality improvement process for service development, implementation and evaluation.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team to accomplish service goals and improved patient and/or consumer care and outcomes.
• Demonstrated high level verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt communication style to suit the target audience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of mental health issues for older people
• Demonstrated experience providing evidence based and recovery oriented assessment and treatment for consumers of the mental health service
