  • Masters of Clinical psychology or equivalent qualification and registration with AHPRA with endorsement as a clinical psychologist, and Knowledge of current legislation and trends in child protection.
  • Extensive experience working from a trauma informed perspective in the assessment and treatment of abused children and their families, and experience in provision of sexual assault counselling to children, adolescents and families. Or a willingness to undertake the desired training within NSW Health in order to provide this.
  • Experience in consultation, liaison and supervision of staff.
  • Evidence of additional training and education in evidence-based individual and systemic approaches.
  • Evidence in presenting on trauma to other professionals and interagency partners
  • Demonstrated ability to initiate and carry out research.
  • Proven capacity to work within a multidisciplinary team and an interagency setting.
  • High level computer literacy and a Current unrestricted NSW drivers licence
