Salary: The equivalent of Health Professional Level 6 or Health Manager Level 3 (depending on professional group)

 

The Clinical Director PIEC-MH Services is responsible to the Executive Director Clinical Services for the overall management and coordination of the services provided by the mental health clinicians (direct reports) in all Tresillian NSW metro and regional services, the ACT and Tasmania services.

 

The position, in conjunction with the Executive Director Clinical Services, is also responsible for the planning and development needs of the mental health and wellbeing services from a financial, organisational, physical and human resource perspective for the team of social workers, psychologists, clinical psychologists and other allied health clinicians.

 

SELECTION CRITERIA

 

1.     Qualification as an Allied Health Professional. Must have current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (if applicable) and/or eligibility for membership of a relevant peak body professional association.

 

2.     Demonstrated evidence of extensive clinical and management experience in Child and Family Mental Health Services.

 

3.     Demonstrated ability to provide strategic and operational management with an emphasis on human, financial, physical and information resources within a team.

 

4.     Demonstrated ability to negotiate resolutions and manage conflict; creating and maintaining a positive engaged workplace culture in a milieu of dynamic and constant change.

 

5.     Demonstrated advanced communication skills (both written and oral), including data monitoring and reporting, and demonstrated competence in the use of electronic information systems.

 

6.     Proven experience in clinical service planning, with a strong focus on client care coordination that reflects an integrated service approach with the local health and NGO partners.

 

7.     Post graduate qualifications in health services management and/or equivalent experience with a willingness to work towards post graduate experience in management.

 

8.     Current NSW Drivers Licence, with the ability to travel in accordance with position responsibilities.
