Selection Criteria:
- Demonstrated understanding of safe food handling practices and the handling of food service equipment
- Demonstrated menu planning experience with the provision of nutritionally based meals for young children, including multicultural meals and flexible meal options for children with special diets.
- Effective time management skills with ability to prepare and provide meals and snacks within required timeframes
- Flexibility, good communication skills (both written and oral) & professionalism.
- Ability to work unsupervised and in collaboration with the broader child care team
- Able to interact and consult with a diverse range of staff and families of the service of differing backgrounds
- Current First Aid Certificate and asthma and anaphylaxis certificate or wiliness to obtain.
