  1. Relevant qualification in Bachelor of Social Work with eligibility for membership to Australian Association of Social Workers or Degree in Psychology and eligibility for full registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  2. Demonstrated extensive experience in the provision of clinical services for a complex case load, with demonstrated experience working in domestic violence, low risk suicide and child development for children 0 – 12 years and substantial knowledge of life span stages.
  3. Ability to plan and coordinate client care independently and operate effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
  4. Sound understanding of complex health and mental health conditions across both the acute and community health settings.
  5. Understanding and knowledge of Aboriginal social, cultural and economic issues with capacity to flexibly develop local responses to community needs using cross cultural communication skills.
  6. Demonstrated high levels of effective communication (both oral and written) liaison, negotiation and computer skills
  7. Demonstrated high level knowledge and understanding of person-centred care, quality improvement and evidence based practice.
  8. Valid unrestricted drivers licence for use in NSW/Australia and willingness to travel in the course of employment.
