CEC - Project Officer, Community Pharmacy Palliative Care Initiative

• Tertiary qualifications in a health field with relevant AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) registration or equivalent; with extensive knowledge of medicines use processes within NSW public hospitals and in community pharmacy.
• Extensive knowledge of Quality Use of Medicines principles; (experience in quality use of medicines in palliative care desirable).
• Extensive knowledge and understanding of the principles, structures and processes of project management;
• Demonstrated analytical skills, with the capacity to undertake qualitative and quantitative analysis of clinical data;
• Demonstrated experience in leading healthcare quality improvement initiatives fostering a systematic collaborative approach to improving patient outcomes, including the management of multiple and concurrent initiatives with conflicting milestones and deadlines,
• Highly developed communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills demonstrating the capability to influence and build strong relationships with diverse stakeholder groups to support change and drive the achievement of common goals.
• Demonstrated ability to identify, review and analyse health literature and develop succinct, high-quality written documents, reports and verbal presentations for senior clinicians, executive-level managers and external stakeholders.
• Capacity and willingness to travel to NSW Health service locations and work flexible work hours, which may include overnight stays and travel to regional areas, and evidence of a current driver's licence recognised in NSW.
