What you'll be doing

  • Support and assist Dental clinicians in the provision of oral health services to patients and provide clerical and administrative duties for the clinics to ensure efficient management of Dental services across the District

How to Apply

To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria in the application as thoroughly as possible: 

  • Certificate III in Dental Assisting or relevant work experience and working towards obtaining formal qualification. Dental Assisting Certificate IV required for appointment at Grade 2.
  • Highly effective communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to relate well to adults, children and other health professionals.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform effective infection control, instrument reprocessing and dental assisting.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan own work, manage priorities, use initiative and to problem solve.
  • Effective computer skills for communication and proficient in the use of Word and Excel.
  • Class C drivers licence with the ability and willingness to travel for work purposes.
