What you'll be doing
As the Aged Care Assessment Services Manager (ACAS Manager), you’ll lead and coordinate our Aged Care Assessment Services. You’ll integrate the Australian National Aged Care Classification service, support the Manager of Aged, Chronic Care, and Allied Health, and ensure we meet key performance indicators and financial goals. You’ll also guide our Senior Clinicians and staff.
- Be a role model and promote our values.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop staff.
- Manage finances to ensure quality care within budget.
- Lead and direct the Aged Care Assessment Intake Service and ACAS.
- Implement best practices and monitor performance.
- Manage projects and resources effectively.
- Provide advice on policy and reforms.
- Contribute to strategic planning.
- Ensure staff training and development.
People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background encouraged to apply.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in health or relevant equivalent clinical work experience.
- Demonstrated strong leadership and management skills to enhance staff performance, influence workplace culture, and lead change.
- Demonstrated experience in collecting and analysing data and information and the ability to use this information to produce high quality written reports.
- Demonstrated experience in service planning and evaluation at strategic and service levels.
- Current unrestricted NSW drivers license (with a willingness to travel in accordance with the demands of the position).
