Selection Criteria:
- Recognised tertiary qualifications in accounting, commerce, economics or related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in financial accounting with an emphasis in reconciling General Ledger Accounts and Subsidiary Ledger in particular to a Fixed Assets & Leasing environment.
- Proven capacity to maintain and operate a complex fixed assets accounting system.
- Demonstrated experience in the use of computerised mainframe financial systems and a proven ability in the use of current Microsoft products.
- Excellent written and verbal interpersonal communication skills with the ability to deal with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders with a customer service focus.
- Demonstrated effective time management skills with the ability to prioritise workload to meet and achieve strict & sometimes conflicting deadlines with the effective utilisation of available resources.
- Ability to contribute to the development of accounting policy, procedures and principles.
- Demonstrated knowledge and appreciation of the processes of shared service concepts and related service level agreements.
