  1. Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent. Aboriginality is a genuine occupational qualification and is authorised by section 14(d) of the Anti- Discrimination Act 1977.
  2. Tertiary qualifications in health, social sciences or related field, or demonstrated equivalent experience.
  3. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the health issues and key policies that impact on Aboriginal Communities.
  4. Demonstrated ability to liaise, proactively engage and work collaboratively with vulnerable communities and relevant agencies in ensuring culturally responsive services.
  5. Knowledge of drug and alcohol issues and harm ministration and experience working with vulnerable clients and families with complex health and psycho-social needs in a community setting.
  6. Demonstrated experience working across agencies on projects/programs.
  7. Demonstrate capacity to work effectively and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and to work autonomously without supervision.
  8. Demonstrated oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, computer literacy skills, and unrestricted NSW driver's licence (P2 acceptable).
