✈️ Our Flying Squad!
As part of our Registered Nurse Flying Squad (Casual Pool for Metro and Rural Nursing), you’ll be assigned to short-term deployments across the state. You’ll be presented with the flexibility of travelling to different healthcare settings within Justice Health NSW while providing high-quality care to diverse patient groups. Travel and accommodation costs are covered.

The Role
The role of our Registered Nurses (RNs) includes reception screening and comprehensive health assessments all persons received into custody whilst assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing management.
You will work within Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network (JHFMHN) and Ministry of Health policies, procedures and guidelines as well as Corrective Services NSW and Juvenile Justice NSW rules and regulations as set out in the relevant legislation.
We are looking for qualified healthcare professionals with:
- Current authority to practice as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia.
- At least one full year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
- A current NSW Driver Licence.
