The Role

We’re currently looking for a Finance and Salary Packaging Officer to manage the Salary Packaging Service.

The Finance and Salary Packaging Officer will:

• Manage various salary packaging contracts with the outsourced providers and their relationship manager.
• Managing all tax related matters for JHNSW including FBT and BAS.
• Promotion of salary packaging at staff events and webinar.
• Actively review salary packaging participations rate on monthly basis and proactively engage with non-participating staff to increase participation and the number of the packages.
• Provide appropriate FBT advice to staff and management.
• Administer staff salary packaging arrangements with provider. This includes any deed and coordinate any account migrations from wider Health as well as new packages set up or ceasing.
• Understand salary packaging offering beyond FBT and Meal and Entertainment card and promote accordingly.
• The position is also responsible for other financial functions with a broad range of duties including reconciliations, data analysis and taxation compliance and reports to the Financial Accountant.
