Clinical Nurse Consultant, Mental Health (CNC1) - PFT

1. Current authority to practice as a registered nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia and hold an unrestricted NSW Driving licence and a willingness to travel within NSW as required.
2. Minimum 5 years full time equivalent post registration experience and approved post registration nursing qualifications relevant to Mental Health nursing.
3. Proven ability to implement changes and develop direction in clinical practice by the utilisation of evidence based research.
4. Demonstrated skills in clinical teaching, experience in the development of specialty education programs and competency in the use of contemporary information systems.
5. Demonstrated clinical expertise in patient-centred consultancy with the ability to work independently.
6. Demonstrated effective communication and inter-personal skills across a variety of mediums and an understanding of the practice development framework.
7. Demonstrate personal attributes including resilience, accountability, integrity and the ability to manage self.
