Selection Criteria:
- Fluency and literacy in English and relevant language as advertised, possessing NAATI Interpreter Accreditation/certification or the willingness to obtain NAATI Interpreter Accreditation/certification in relevant Language and preferably possess Medical Terminology Certificate.
- Possess a Current NSW Class C driver's licence and willing to drive to appointments across the ISLHD.
- Demonstrate high work ethics and integrity along with the ability to identify ethical Dilemmas.
- Possess high level of interpersonal and communication skills as well as conflict resolution skills, and demonstrate your ability to use initiative and work in a team environment.
- Possess empathy and capacity to work with highly sensitive matters.
- Demonstrated experience interpreting for the relevant community and within health care settings.
- Excellent Time management skills and the ability to perform well under pressure.
- Demonstrate experience in utilising Micro soft office, computers, video conferencing and emails.
