About the Role
You will be working at Concord Repatriation General Hospital. The hospital has a well-earned reputation for excellence in healthcare for over 70 years. Building on its proud heritage of caring for the Veteran community, the hospital now services the local communities of Concord, Strathfield, Burwood and beyond.
Provide senior clinical leadership and team management within the Social Work Department The position will also support the mentoring and development of staff and carries a clinical caseload.
Aged Care & Rehabilitation Team Leader, managing a team of Social Worker's across the Acute, Psychogeriatric and Rehab streams. The role requires participation in the Social Work On Call Roster at Concord Hospital.

Ideal Candidate
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Social Work which provides eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
- Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge, skill and significant clinical experience in the provision of Social Work services.
- Extensive experience and demonstrated ability in building and maintaining professional and therapeutic relationships through the application of written, verbal, interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Demonstrated experience and ability to identify opportunities and innovatively lead the planning, implementation and evaluation of service delivery incorporating continuous improvement, evidence based practice and research.
- Demonstrated extensive experience in the provision of clinical supervision, mentoring and development of junior staff and students.
- Demonstrated high-level organisational, prioritisation and time management skills in an environment of competing clinical/administrative demands.
- Excellent negotiation, decision making and advocacy skills including collaborative stakeholder consultation.
- Participate in the Social Work On Call Roster.
