Health Manager level 4, starting salary from $141,974 - $169,151 plus Super, with a 38-hour work week.

What you’ll be doing
The SQL Integration Specialist is responsible for eliciting business requirements, optimising data and developing data pipeline architecture, as required for optimal extraction, transformation and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources.

  • Elicit requirements to clarify business issues to develop solutions that meet business needs, developing strong stakeholder relationships through effective communication, negotiation, and issues management to ensure deliverables are met. 
  • Analyse data to identify trends or patterns, using a range of modelling techniques such as prototyping to support analysis and design solutions. 
  • Perform solution testing and assist with go-live support and maintenance management to enable a stabilized solution. 
  • Identify, design and resolve operational data integration issues and maintain data integrity for business users. 
  • Prepare documentation and communications, including design specifications, training material, release notes, and alike, through the program lifecycle to meet governance requirements. 
  • Design solutions that adhere to standards ensuring data is free from corruption and remains stable, accurate and consistent across systems.

About you
We are seeking motivated and committed individuals who can support the work of NSW Health with:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, with demonstrated expertise in SQL development and integration.
  • Strong data analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and deliver meaningful insights to support business needs.
  • Proven adaptability to new technologies, platforms, and integration tools in a dynamic program environment.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across clinical, financial, and technical teams.
  • Strongly preferred: prior experience with NSW Activity-Based Costing, including understanding of costing processes, data structures, and reporting requirements.
