Selection Criteria:
- Tertiary qualifications relevant to the role or demonstrated equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated high level understanding of the NSW Health funding model, NSW and Commonwealth health systems and health data systems used in NSW, particularly those relating to patient care and costing.
- Ability to analyse data to identify clinical variation, performance concerns and to guide policy development and engagement initiatives.
- Strong project management, leadership and change management skills with the ability to understand and manage a wide range of complex and clinically technical projects and issues.
- Ability to clearly articulate organisational and strategic priorities.
- Highly developed stakeholder management and communication skills, including liaison and negotiations skills with the ability to successfully communicate complex and sensitive issues to stakeholders at varying levels.
- Demonstrated understanding of activity based management, activity based funding, activity based costing, purchasing of health services, benchmarking and health care classifications.
- Experience in the development of modern and innovative engagement and educational strategies, materials and presentations.
