About the role:

Health Manager level 6, starting salary from $182,575 - $199,405, plus Super with a 40-hour work week.
What you’ll be doing
- Build and refine a Python-based model to simulate award scenarios and workforce costings.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, validate assumptions, and align modelling to policy needs.
- Provide technical guidance to analysts and support urgent costing requests using the model.
- Document model logic, workflows, and outputs to ensure transparency and reusability.
- Present findings and model outputs to senior executives, finance, industrial relations and external stakeholders.
About you:
We are seeking motivated and committed individuals who can support the work of NSW Health with:
Advanced skills in Python (or equivalent tools) for data modelling, simulation, and scenario analysis
Experience building and maintaining complex financial or workforce models in large or regulated organisations
Strong analytical skills with the ability to distil complexity into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to document and present model assumptions and outputs clearly
Knowledge of industrial relations, public sector awards, or workforce costing is highly desirable
