About the role:

An exciting opportunity exists in EIST, System Sustainability and Performance Division. Working in a small team and dynamic environment, the Portfolio Manager will support health entities, providing expertise, advice and guidance on financial and efficiency improvement strategies. The position will be critical in managing relationships with local health districts, pillars and shared services to ensure NSW Health’s efficiency improvement program expectations are met.
Health Manager level 4, starting salary from $141,974 - $169,151 plus Super, with a 38- hour work week.
What you’ll be doing
- Work autonomously, managing a portfolio of health entities to ensure alignment with NSW Health requirement around efficiency improvement program.
- Conducting quality assurance reviews, analysis and reporting of Efficiency Improvement Plans.
- Develop and manage strong relationships with all health entities and ensure ongoing accountability and commitment to the Efficiency Improvement Program.
- Identify and promote efficiency improvement program learnings and ideas across NSW Health.
- Provide benchmarking services, performance analysis and service review support, as required.
About you:
We are seeking motivated and committed individuals who can support the work of NSW Health with:
- Extensive experience managing a portfolio of stakeholders with excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills.
- Strong ability to influence, negotiate and communicate proficiently on challenging issues.
- Strong judgement, analytical and problem skills, with ability to deal with complex and sensitive matters.
- Experience in continual process improvements and demonstrated record in effecting change and improvements to reporting and business systems and processes.
