What you'll be doing
This is an exciting opportunity to become a part of Australia's largest health system by joining the statewide NSW Health Deployment Program in the Central Resource Unit (CRU)
We are looking for a Pharmacist Grade 2 to provide high quality clinical pharmacy services to patients and their families/carers, to ensure the provision of optimal health outcomes for patients of the service.

Where you'll be working
The Pharmacist workforce will be deployed to locations across NSW Health from anywhere between two to 13 weeks to support short-term staffing needs. You will have the flexibility to work for short periods of time, with the opportunity to stay longer and work across a variety of health settings when on deployment.

To be considered for this position, you will need to attach your up-to-date resume (up to 5 pages) and response to the targeted questions in the questionnaire.  

Targeted Questions: 

  1. Full registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia (Ahpra) with no restrictions on scope of practice.
  2. Detail your experience in the provision of clinical pharmacy services in a hospital setting.
  3. Outline your approach to juggling the different needs and priorities of clinicians and patients in a regional health setting.  
  4. Current drivers’ licence with capacity and willingness to travel to NSW Health business and service locations throughout NSW which will include overnight stays in regional / remote areas. These deployments will make up the majority of your time in the position.
