About the role

We’re looking for a friendly and energetic Facilities Officer to join our team. Ideally you have experience in acting as a central point of contact for facilities related matters and providing your expertise and advise while working closely with building managers as well as internal and external stakeholders as required to coordinate facility maintenance and repairs, cleaning, security, access and parking.

Health Manager Level 1 starting salary from $87,813 - $116,824 plus Super, with a 38-hour work week.

 

What you’ll be doing

The primary purpose of the Facilities Officer is to manage the day-to-day facilities operations to ensure a safe working environment and positive workplace experience.

Duties include but are not limited to the management of essential services, repairs and maintenance, as well as co-ordination of initiatives and projects that focus on enhancing the employee experience.

 

About you

We are seeking motivated and committed individuals who can support the work of NSW Health with:

  • Demonstrated experience in facilities coordination, building operations, or property management within a complex organisation.
  • Strong ability to manage contractors, maintenance requests, and service delivery to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Well-developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with staff, contractors, and management.
  • Proven organisational and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to prioritise competing tasks and respond to urgent issues in a fast-paced environment.
