About the Opportunity

Join Australia's largest health system through the NSW Health Deployment Program (NSWHDP) and gain diverse clinical experience across regional, rural, and remote health settings throughout NSW.

We are seeking Enrolled Nurses with a minimum of one year post registration experience.

Working on deployments ranging from 2 to 13 weeks, you will provide person-centred care, support short-term workforce needs, and enjoy the flexibility to work across a variety of healthcare settings while expanding your skills and experience. Rotating rosters, including night duty apply while on deployment.

We are unable to provide visa sponsorship, only candidates with current Work Rights in Australia documentation (Australian Citizens, Permanent Residents, NZ Citizens with a current passport or valid work Visa) will be considered. 

Essential Requirements:

  1. Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (Ahpra) as an Enrolled Nurse.

     

  2. Current drivers’ licence with capacity and willingness to travel to NSW Health business and service locations throughout NSW which will include overnight stays in regional / remote areas. These deployments will make up the majority of your time in the position.

Targeted Questions:

  1. Provide an example of your experience as an Enrolled Nurse in a clinical setting. In your response, describe your contribution to patient safety, quality and risk management, participation in quality and safety initiatives.

  2. Detail your understanding of team nursing & demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of the multi-disciplinary health care team.

Additional Information

  • This is an NSW Health Category A position. For more information, please refer to the NSW Health Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination Against Specified Infectious Diseases policy. 

     

     

    If you have any current evidence of vaccination against these, upload them with your application. Your current vaccination status will not impact your application.
