About the role

Health Manager level 3 starting salary from $132,236 - $150,222 plus Super, with a 38- hour work week.
What you’ll be doing
- Utilise technical expertise in the analysis of user requirements, translate business requirements into design and configuration recommendations, and engage and negotiate with stakeholders to provide high quality BI solutions.
- Assume responsibility of the design, development, testing, support and enhancement of the data models and data marts to facilitate efficient data retrieval and reporting.
- Execute the design, implementation, and unit testing - Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes to extract data from various sources, transform and cleanse it, and load it into the data warehouse.
- Monitor and optimize the performance of BI solutions to ensure timely and efficient data retrieval and reporting. Identify and address bottlenecks and optimize query performance.
- Work in a fast-paced team using agile project management methodologies.
About you
We are seeking motivated and committed individuals who can support the work of NSW Health with:
- You hold a degree or diploma in Information Technology (or equivalent experience).
- You have strong knowledge of data warehousing, dimensional modelling, and performance tuning using T-SQL and execution plans.
- You bring hands-on experience with SSIS, SQL Server (2012+), and source control tools like GIT.
- You’re comfortable working in Agile and DevOps environments, with exposure to Microsoft Azure and Power BI.
- You’re a strong communicator and problem-solver, capable of working independently or as part of a team.
