About the Role


The Strategic Recruitment Unit is responsible for leading and driving state-wide recruitment and talent acquisition policy, strategies and projects to ensure NSW Health attracts and engages top talent.


In this role, you will:

  • Drive innovation and reform in recruitment methods
  • Promote best practice state-wide recruitment policy and processes
  • Deliver projects to enhance and support NSW Health’s talent acquisition needs
  • Support campaign recruitment including the annual recruitment of junior medical officers and overseas campaigns
  • Conduct research and evaluation of innovative recruitment strategies to reduce time to hire and realise efficiencies
  • Work closely with system Talent leads across the State providing high quality and timely advice


About You


We’re looking for someone who has:

  • Experience in talent acquisition, development or related human resource discipline
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects with an ability to achieve project deadlines and milestones
  • Well-developed stakeholder management skills that achieve shared goals
  • Proven ability to work to tight deadlines when dealing with urgent and complex matters, as well as maintaining the continuity of ongoing strategic projects.
  • Capacity for creativity and innovation to contribute to systems, processes and business improvements.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience in developing and implementing policy.
