About this role

We are seeking a high-performing individual to join the Service Planning Strategy Policy Unit. You will have the opportunity to participate in projects and activities, research and provide advice in relation to strategic service planning matters for NSW Health, public health organisations, and related government agencies to support the achievement of NSW Health’s reform objectives. Previous experience in health service planning, health policy and or government experience would be considered advantageous for this role.

 

Crown Clerk HSM2, starting salary from $114,251 - $134,809 plus Super and annual leave loading, with a 38-hour work week.

What you'll be doing

Reporting to the Principal Project and Planning Officer, Service Planning Strategy Unit, you will assist with a wide range of projects/tasks which require excellent written and organisation skills. At the same time, the role provides the opportunity to develop dedicated skills in policy, project management, and statewide service planning.

 

This is a great opportunity to get a good understanding of how the NSW Health system operates in the context of dealing with Ministry partners, other health agencies and Local Health Districts/Specialty Health Networks.
