About the role:

The Marketing and Communications Manager will develop and execute a national marketing and communication plan to launch a new NSW Health locum medical sourcing service to doctors, as well as internal and external health system stakeholders. In addition to a go-to market strategy, the Manager will also be responsible for developing a comprehensive post launch plan to support business and market share growth. The Manager will lead content and collateral creation, working closely with the Strategic Communications and Engagement Branch to ensure clear, consistent messaging across all channels.
Health Manager level 4, starting salary from $141,974 - $169,151 plus Super, with a 38-hour work week.
What you’ll be doing
- Brand development
- Develop and deliver a national marketing and communications strategy to take the entity to market - build awareness of the service, launch the service and drive registrations by doctors
- Develop a post launch marketing and communications strategy to support market share growth
- Lead the procurement of marketing and communication services and the management of vendor contracts and relationships, as required
- Lead the creation, implementation and evaluation of content and collateral to support the marketing and communications strategy across a variety of channels, ensuring alignment with NSW Health and NSW Government policies
- Liaise closely with the Strategic Communications and Engagement Branch to ensure clear, consistent messaging across all channels
- Establish and manage an internal communications strategy for NSW Health entities relating to the activities of the new business unit
- Contribute to the development and implementation of a change management plan for stakeholders.
About you:
We are seeking motivated and committed individuals who can support the work of NSW Health with:
1. Relevant tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications, business and/or significant relevant experience in conducting marketing, branding or communications initiatives.
2. Demonstrated experience in brand development, go to market/launch communication strategies and change strategies, plans and material in a large organisation.
3. Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal and consultation skills with an ability to build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders across NSW Health and external parties.
