The Strategic Reform and Planning Branch is a fast-paced, collaborative environment and sees the team working with high level internal and external stakeholders. The Branch is driving an exciting phase of innovation and change; and the position will play a role in shaping the future direction of the NSW health system.

What you will be doing
The position manages, coordinates and delivers projects that supports the achievement of NSW Health's strategic system priorities in alignment with Government objectives.
Strategic thinking and advanced project management, analytic, communication and stakeholder management skills are an essential part of this role - you will be contributing to the development of recommendations and advice to the senior management team and other stakeholders on current and emerging strategic reforms to facilitate executive decision making.
About you
We are seeking motivated and committed individuals who can support the work of NSW Health with:
- Provide timely and evidence-based strategic advice to the Director Strategy and System Priorities and other stakeholders to support informed decision making and strategic development.
- Lead and manage the development of strategic reform projects and policy to address current and emerging issues and concerns affecting reform outcomes, ensuring project outcomes are achieved on time, to quality standards and within agreed scope.
- Establish and maintain stakeholder relationships through effective communication, negotiation and issues management to engage stakeholders.
- Provide analysis and expert advice of current and emerging health issues to assess and advise on their potential inclusion in a reform program
- Prepare high quality written reports, briefs, correspondence and cabinet documents that synthesise complex information or respond to government requests within short timeframes.
