Position: Associate Director, Strategic Recruitment

Employment Type: Full-time Permanent

Salary: $166,678 – 186,448 per annum, plus superannuation

Location: 1 Reserve Road, St Leonards NSW

About the Role

The Strategic Recruitment Unit is responsible for leading and driving state-wide recruitment and talent acquisition policy, strategies and projects to ensure NSW Health attracts, engages and retains top talent.

 

In this role, you will:

  • Provide specialist expertise on contemporary recruitment and talent acquisition practices that align to NSW Health’s strategic priorities
  • Lead and manage statewide recruitment policy and advice to ensure timely and high-quality state-wide advice
  • Ensure NSW Health is an employer of choice in market reducing time to hire and optimising candidate and hiring manager experiences
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand our talent needs and continuously improve our recruitment policy, processes and systems
  • Use data led insights to inform talent strategies, monitor key metrics, and report on talent-related outcomes to executives and leadership
  • Identify system enhancements to deliver improved and innovative recruitment functionality
  • Lead and mentor a team of talent professionals

 

About You

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • Extensive leadership experience leading Talent teams
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in human resources, people and culture, public policy or related field and/or relevant industry experience in talent acquisition
  • Track record in driving a reform agenda in a variety of settings, including policy and technology
  • Superior communication skills, including strong oral and written skills and excellent stakeholder skills
