About the role:
This position provides efficient and effective executive secretarial and administrative support to the Health Service Manager / Director of Nursing and Midwifery and others as directed.
No two days are the same. You may begin the morning assisting with recruitment processes, move into coordinating education activities, manage invoicing and payroll matters, prepare complex correspondence, and finish the day organising meeting minutes or resolving an urgent education-related issue.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing diaries, travel arrangements, timesheets and leave or payroll processing
- Preparing reports, professional correspondence and complex documentation
- Coordinating and providing secretariat support for meetings and committees
- Organising meeting rooms and video or teleconferencing facilities
- Providing professional reception and customer service support
- Monitoring workflows and prioritising competing administrative demands
- Ensuring compliance with NSW Health policies, WHS requirements and risk frameworks
This is a busy and complex environment requiring sound judgement, discretion and strong organisational skills.

We’re looking for:
- Demonstrate experience in Recruitment & Onboarding
- Demonstrated experience providing high-level administrative and secretarial support
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines
- Sound problem-solving skills, judgement and discretion
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
- Confidence preparing professional correspondence, reports and meeting documentation
- Commitment to delivering high-quality customer service
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team
- Proficiency across a broad range of computer systems and electronic platforms
You are proactive, flexible, organised and comfortable working in a demanding environment while balancing direction with initiative.
